Our wholesale relationships are our bread and butter, they are what we love most! When it comes to coffee, we welcome people from all backgrounds to discover the potential that lies within good coffee. We love those cafe's and restaurants who already share the same value of preparing & serving high quality coffee, but just as much enjoy the challenge of walking the newbie toward the finished product we love!
Q: I’M INTERESTED IN A JOB AT BDR, HOW DO I APPLY?
We are a rapidly growing company and always open to applications, from warehouse gigs to training and development. Either give us a call or send us your resume and we'll let you know if there's any openings!
Q: DOES BDR DONATE PRODUCT FOR SPECIAL EVENTS?
We are known to help out for causes we believe in. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with information about the event and what you're looking for and we'll be sure to get back to you.
Q: DOES BDR HAVE A CAFE AT THEIR ROASTERY?
We currently have chosen not to have our own cafe, this allows our focus to be on our wholesale customers without distraction. Maybe one day it will change, but for now we are happy!
Q: IS YOUR COFFEE FAIR TRADE AND/OR ORGANIC?
Our roastery and warehouse is Certified Organic. However we source & blend on taste of the finished product. Some of our beans will have these certifications along with others like Rainforest Alliance, but we find the best way to look after farmers is to remove 'middle men' from the trading, and try to buy more direct. We pride ourselves on being a company who puts ethics above profits.
Q: WHAT IS THE OPTIMAL TIME TO DRINK YOUR COFFEE AFTER THE ROAST DATE?
Espresso: 5-21 days off roast
Filter(light): 3-18 days off roast
Q: HOW FRESH IS MY COFFEE WHEN I RECEIVE IT?
Our ordering system currently operates that each different blend and origin has it's designated roast days. This means we will roast, pack and dispatch on the same day every week. When you receive the coffee it should be no more than 1 - 4 days off roast. (depending on where you live)
Q: CAN YOU PRE-GRIND MY COFFEE?
Yes! Should you want it ground just select that from the options provided. Be sure to inform us of what you use to brew the coffee.
Q: MY COFFEE TASTES WATERY, WHAT DO I DO?
We would advise three things to try.
- Grind it finer
- Brew it Longer
- Increase your water Temp
If none of the above lead to the coffee you are hoping for, contact us and we could talk you through some options, or look into a different blend or origin that may carry flavour notes that are more your style.

Q: WHAT DAY WILL MY PACKAGE SHIP?
Each product in our store lists it's roast day. Shipping will occur the day after roast by 10:00am and arrive at your door 1-3 days after, depending on where you live.
Q: WHAT KIND OF SHIPPING SHOULD I CHOOSE FOR MY ORDER?
To keep it simple, we don't have have shipping options. We send it fast with one reliable carrier.
